What would you suggest?
It was originally on at £145k, down to £129,950 then accepted an offer at £115k which ended up falling through as the buyer had been made redundant. We know the people who are selling the house, but they as yet, don't know that we are interested in the property which is not part of a chain.
The house needs quite a bit of modernisation- new kitchen, new bathroom, whole house needs to be redecorated, new double glazing in parts and central heating needs to be installed.
I would love this house as it ticks all our boxes, however we have yet to sell our home (not yet on the market) and need to figure out how much would be a realistic price to offer on this property.
Would £110k be acceptable or laughed at do you think? (Given that the sellers know our family- they came to my wedding. And also that we wont have sold our house yet)

It's not so much a question of how much you offer, but the fact that you haven't sold yours that's the problem.0

Yup, sell yours first and then start looking. There's no point in offering anything until you know how much you can get for yours.0

If you do manage to sell yours, I would say offer around 85k, all that work that needs doing isn't going to come cheap.0
