Quitting Permanent Work for Temp

I hate my current job but I am lucky that I'm not desparate for a regular income, so I could quit to work temporary. But it would be nice to be able to claim a bit of dole money when the temp job finishes. Would the fact that I left permanent work for temporary affect an unemployment claim?

Are you trying to use a one off temp job to claim JSA because you know you can't walk out of your current job and get it?
Or are you asking in case work dries up in awhile with the temping?0 -
I'm probably thinking that I may have to try to claim dole if the second temp job doesn't immediately follow the first.0
