I need a celebrity urgently!

A project that I've been involved in has an event planned for this Thursday lunchtime in Cardiff, Wales. Unfortunately the celebrity that was booked has let us down. All we wanted them to do was hand out some awards to a few people with Asperger syndrome as a thankyou for all their hard work and achievement. Now they will be very disappointed!

I know it is unlikely but worth a try. Are there any celebrities reading this or anyone who knows a celebrity who might be in the Cardiff area and available this Thursday between 1-2p.m? Or anyone who can suggest any alternatives I could try? If so please PM me.

I may be able to arrange some payment and would certainly cover expenses. It would make their day!

This is probably no help to you, but have you contacted the BBC? Torchwood is filming in and around Cardiff at the moment, so you may be able to convince Captain Jack to pop along! Also, Ruth Jones (Nessa from Gavin & Stacey) lives in Cardiff, and has a show on Radio Wales so they may be able to put you in touch with her agent. Or perhaps the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama could suggest something?

cardiff blues (rugby) and cardiff city (football) players are frequently in the press for doing this type of work.

red dragon fm radio presenters are another popular option, as are the bbc wales news and weather crew
