Have you lost the money, or have the investments just gone down by £50K if you cash them in today?
All losses/profits are paper, until you sell...0 -
How much have you Invested in these Funds if you have just lost £50k ??
Must be a few million ££ if that lost has just happened !!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
If it is a long term investment (which it should be) so what.0

My advice is that advice is spelled with a c, not an s.You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
The value of investments can go down as well as up!0

You just lost £50k? You must have a massive amount in these funds. You must have also bought in less than 3 years ago because my very quick checks seem to show you'd be even or positive over 3 years, and fully positive over 5 years.
I would suggest you look at the amounts you have in each of these funds then make your decision. Solidifying your losses now could potentially be a bad idea. If you're able to wait 3 to 5 years you should see a swing back to positive returns (with the exception of the property fund, who knows what's going to happen there).Mmmm, credit crunch. Tasty.0 -

Well on the part of my portfolio I started tracking when I <koff> prematurely called the bottom of the market (starting beginning of this month,) I've lost (as of writing) 21.96% (this is not a complaint, just an observation.)
Extrapolating this equates to £227.5k - not a lot for some people.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
