Are UK Diesel fuel prices too high?
Having driven in Europe a few times recently I have been puzzled that in most EU countries, the local pump price for diesel fuel is often 20% cheaper than unleaded petrol. In the UK, the pump price for diesel is typically 5% higher than unleaded.
Does anyone know if this is down to our tax/duty regime or is it that the trade sees diesel drivers as 'fair game' given the better mpg that they get compared to petrol powered vehicles?
Should diesel car owners be starting a 'Fair Play for Diesels' campaign?

it all comes down to what mileage u do in a year and how much extra do u have to pay for a diesel model when doing calculations.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way
