Esure and Quidco: Home insurance joint buildings & contents

I bought a home insurance policy with esure yesterday via Quidco. It has tracked, but at £30, the level for buildings or contents only. It was a joint buildings and contents policy that should have a full cashback of £70.

I could understand that the tracking process may not be able to distinguish between exactly what level of cover has been bought, so it could well just track at £30 for now and be increased later when the actual policy has inforce for long enough and verified.

Has anyone else bought an esure home policy through Quidco and found the same initial tracking. Did the full amount eventually get validated / paid?

Thanks

I've had exactly the same problem! I very quickly raised an earnigs enquiry giving all required info including policy number, price etc.
Yesterday (quite a few weeks later) I received 2 emails in rapid succession from Quido. They both had links to the same 'ticket' the last 3 entries read:

1/The status has changed from sent to merchant to successful. The ticket has been closed.
2/ (3 minutes later)Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. The affiliated network has investigated your enquiry and have declined the transaction. This is because they were unable to trace your enquiry. Kind regards, Quidco Member Support
3/ The status has changed from successful to unsuccessful. The ticket has been closed.

I have contacted Quidco again and, they have asked me to email a copy of my policy and they will look into it.

It's good to know that I am not alone, clearly a system problem where Quidco and esure haven't worked closely enough, despite esure being 'SureShop' approved.

We wait and see, I'll keep you posted.
