That's the problem. We can't see user's ip address in this forum. If we can then we will know whether it is true or not. Either way 50K less than asking price sounds like a good deal. I don't mind a good deal like that in the south! It is not likely but it would be nice if I find a deal like that.

No I'm pretty sure it isn't, to be honest, its been up a while and there are a few others at a similar price, few more

It does appear to be a 'good deal' if genuine but I find it hard to believe the O.P was a long time lurker, and then registered his account just to tell us of this good deal? Why bother? Why didn't he stay a long time lurker and keep this good deal to himself?

Ah well, perhaps the O.P can give us the link to this home and proof that it was bought for £189k 2yrs ago?

I think that kind of proves that not all areas are that far off rental price.

That is a lot of house for the cash, look like complete bargains to me

Perhaps they are bang right in the middle of a troubled council estate or there is no decent employment in that part of the country to warrant high prices?

I'm guessing it is a repo because look at the picture of the bathroom in the link you gave us:

It has got a tape on top of the toilet. I have viewed repo properties before and they all had tape. So I guessed it could be repo!
