You should try trailfinders - we just booked ours for next July / Aug with them and got 3 nights singapore (for H2B) and 7 nights bali i(for me!) in 4* hotels with private transfers for £1250 each. You could easily get it down to £1000 by going for 3* and coach transfers. We did have to book one flight ourselves to get it cheaper than the trailfinders agent could on his system but we are very pleased.

We also wanted Caribean but decided not to risk it in end. It could turn out fabulous weather - you also could end up in a hurricane - I know which would happen to me!

Think we are going to book to go to Jamaica for 7 days (leaving the 26th). It is the best price that we could find because it is out of season and the tropical storms tend to come, rage then go quite quickly. So fingers crossed the weather will be mostly good - I dont mind a *bit* of rain in the tropical heat . Fingers crossed it is just a bit lol.

Because of the saving/cheap deal over other places we looked at, we will be able to afford to go on some trips whilst there e.g. waterfalls and probably Kingston.

i think i a, going to take the children away for a week after the wedding then whilst away at the caravan i will have a look on internet for a cheap deal that weekend for a week somewhere.

how much is jamaica?

i hopefulyl will find somewhere really nice as a bargain
