Dla, advice please

I had my emp visit yesterday, and he was very pleasant. He said he completely agreed with everything my GP put in his report, and was happy with what I had said and GP had said as completely true (dont want to bore you all with the details)

Probably a hard question to answer, but if the EMP agrees with me and GP, does this mean I am more likely to be awarded DLA, or can the decision maker still not take any notice of what they say? - (I say this as I have been through appeals process before and GP and psychiatrist report was great, but emp not just as good)

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • I think you will find that they will go with what the medical says. I have had 3 medicals in the last 8 years for dla and each time it was ok. I had very nice people each time and i think to be honest what they recomend goes. Don't worry.

Thanks. I hope they do! I just really cant face another long appeals process. That is enough in its self to make anyone ill!
