Standing Order to pay Halifax Mortgage
Comments
-
If you ask them nicely they'll change the direct debit date to anywhere between 1st-28th of the month. Not on Halifax mortgages. Went paying by any other method than Direct Debit, the consumer can make the payment anytime in the calendar month - sooner the better to benefit from daily interest. Standing orders are amended from the source bank account.
Only with Direct Debit is there an actual set date as this is something Halifax has to put into place with the other bank.
If you pay the direct debit via a Halifax account they can even change it to the last day of the month too.0
