Fable 2 freezing

Hi folks

I just wondered if anyone has bought Fable 2 for the Xbox 360?

my partner got it yesterday and he can't get past the 'childhood' phase of the game as it keeps freezing, rendering the game unplayable.

After further online investigation, this seems to be quite a common problem.

I've e-mailed Lionhead studios explaining the problem, but now I'm wondering if I should just contact next directory where I bought it and ask them to take it back and refund my account.

anyone had any experience of this?

Ive got it but i havent experienced any freezing and im past the childhood part well i think i am as my character is grown up, id contact next and say you would like to return it as it has a known fault,

I've contacted Next and they're going to contact the supplier and ring me back.

I wonder if there're some 'dodgy' disks floating about as there seems to be a lot of people with this problem, and some people who aren't having any problems at all!!

Hope it gets sorted soon, partner wants to play fable 2 ... and he's sulking....

Well it turned out that the problem wasn't with Fable 2 as all the other games that came with it are freezing too!

Next sent a courier to collect everything, all the games and the xbox and they're going to send a replacement, so hopefully it will all be fine soon!
