Somerfield Stowells World Estates Wine - exp unk (merged)

Opened a bottle of the white last night and i must admit its not very nice.

This is a cheaper version of Stowells wine and you can certainly tell that from the taste.

Alright for a light drink i suppose

the missus wont notice the difference after the 2nd bottle, anything to save me money.. thanks to the original posters.

They have included the 'Linea Del Sole' (Merlot & Chardonnay) that was on offer the past fortnight, 'then' it was advertised as £5.99 for £2.99 , this in now included in the 4 for £10 deal.

I must say, even the original Stowell's wine, this 'Linea Del Sole' is MUCH better!

OOoooo and BTW, i don't recommend the red!
We ended up adding Grape juice with it.

Can you tell me anything more about the Linea del sole please ?

Where did you see this offer about it being included in the 4 for £10 ?
What is the barcode number(s) ? (I can ring a few stores to see if they have any - easiest way to identify it)
Is it available in both a red (Merlot) and a white (Chardonnay) ?

Anything else you can add gratefully accepted.

They have put a new sign up since yesterday, My branch is Denny,
it is available in both Merlot and Chardonnay yes.

Apart from the Stowell's and the Linea, thay also had a 3rd brand but can't remember what it was called, as it was Spanish wine and we dont drink it.
