£1 trainfare Portsmouth to London
There was a letter in the Portsmouth News a few weeks ago about train tickets from Southampton & Portsmouth to London and back again for £1 each way. It canbe as little as that but there are restrictions and you have to set a time and you have to get on at the main stations. Anyway we,ve booked return tickets - two adults and one 13yr old for £18.50 so a good saving - the website is https://www.megatrain.com worth a visit of you're going up for the day

You will get cheapest fares if you book in advance. I’m not sure but I guess Christmas time is not the best time to book.
