How To Prove You Are Over 60

Morning fellow silver-surfers, I hope this isn't too silly a question.
I will be 60 next March, and quite looking forward to it (I think), especially the concessions available. I've noticed when visiting stately homes and gardens, that the entrance fees are often lower for the over sixties.
I am just wondering, what proof that you are genuinely over sixty do you normally carry around with you, and that you have found to be acceptable to the entrance staff?
Dave.

I just show my Bus Pass.
Boots give a 10% discount on Boots products so don't forget to register as soon as you hit the magic number!
I was asked for proof once in Boots that it was my card, I showed her my bus pass. She apologised and said that i didn't look old enough. That was a good day!!!!0 -

Excellent, bus pass it is then. Thanks for the Boots tip, I'll make sure I register in time. I've already spotted the need to contact the National Trust and get a discount on next year's renewal.
It's not looking old enough that prompted my query, because people tell me I don't look my age and I don't want to find myself with a queue behind me whilst I argue the toss at a ticket counter

No worries. The only thing that upsets me nowadays is when someone forgets it's their round. :rotfl:
