Advice Needed.kitchen Problem.

My kitchen is two years old,it cost me £14k this was for units and worktops only,21 units in all although some are just very small units. It was put in by a kitchen firm who offer a lifetime guarantee.
My problem is with the doors which are painted wood. The paint is cracking in the moulded parts of some of the doors. This happened after the first year and they replaced 4 of them.I now have got the same problem with four more doors.
The kitchen company say it's not anything I have done and they say it's just a problem with this kind of painted door, however now they say the door is no longer available and want to take the doors away to a french polisher to have repaired.I had this done last year and the door came back dented and so they had to replace the door anyway.
I have seen other kitchen companies online offering the same kitchen so the doors must still be available somewhere but they expect me to source them first.
I am unhappy about letting them take the doors away since if they do come back damaged like before they won't be able to replace them this time and I'll be left with the damage. What I would like to know is whether it would be unreasonable of me to ask them to send a french polisher to do the repairs in my own home.Would this be workable.
My OH thinks they should be offering to replace the doors with another style if necessary since the doors did present with this problem within the first year and is obviously an ongoing problem.
Any suggestions as to what I should suggest to them.

I'm with your OH on this. The problem presented itself very soon after purchase. The french polisher damaged the door so that doesn't instill much confidence in his ability. I would be thinking that if this problem arose so soon, and again now with another 4 doors, then it will probably happen again and again. At what point will they say they will no longer repair the doors? I would say they are not fit for the purpose - Sale of Goods Act???? I would be wanting replacement of all doors in another style.

There is an organisation that will come out and do an inspection, some kind of furniture ombudsman type of thing - we had this done a few years ago with our kitchen. You pay a fee, they inspect and report, and if found in favour you can claim the fee back, then sort out a settlement with the kitchen company. Our problem was with doors and we got pretty much the cost of the units as a refund (with a lot of haggling).

Good morning: Dependent on individual work practices, french polishers will work 'in situ'.
