Did anyone else get caught by the Guess watch/Goldsmiths/Tesco vouchers post?

Does the fact that you can't use these vouchers on reduced items really detract that much from the massive savings to be made? I mean, 75 per cent off jewellery?!

I'm assuming that the majority of items at Goldsmith's are not reduced, so if people can look beyond the 'it's not reduced...humbug' hurdle, they will save an absolute packet by taking up this offer. Is £75 off a non-reduced £100 item not better than nothing off an item reduced from £100 to £75 in the first place? Forgive me if I don't know the full facts but this is hardly a wild good chase by my reading of it.

I'd say whoever won a prize for this deserves it.

But it's quite an expensive jewellers, and they don't have a watch within my price range, so, I can't actually get a watch, or anything the kids would want for the value of the vouchers I will now be left with - unless Tesco will take them back of course.
