    Afternoon everyone!!

Strongly worded letter sent to bank manager this morning asking they refund the bank charges - £38 seems steep to me.

Felt a bit down so took £10 of xmas present money and went to Walmart to get an xmas pressy for one of my mates kids. And I came away with 3, count em!, 3 pressies!!!!!
2 x Annuals (Doctor Who and Star Wars) for £7
    Mr Potato Head for £3

So chuffed with myself as thats another 3 kids sorted! Wahey!

(Plus my parcel was one of my comps wins so thats something to ebay!)

    Miss P
    xx

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker
    Afternoonie boys and girls,

    Today I have/will:

    Check internet banking
    Do any online polls
Have a low spending day (bread & marg only)
Make all meals from the store cupboards (roast chicken & Yorkshires tonight yum)
Sit around in snuggly jumper rather than put heating on
Walking dog to the vets (it takes an hour and is great exercise)
Drink more water than cups of tea and coffee
Clean bathroom with vinegar & orange oil (done :D)
Take books back to library to save late fees

    and that's about it.

    Bam x

    Oh, I'm hopping mad now!

I've lost out on £100 ILA because the government in their wisdom have decided to concentrate on those on lower incomes. All very comendable, however every person I know that is trying to better themselves is earning borderline levels above the government cut off... including myself. So, what did they do?? They closed my account without telling me, thus removing my chance to use my £100 before it was no longer possible. I now have another £100 to find before Christmas to pay for this part of the course. And I am NOT a happy bunny about it.

Plain and simple, I just don't have it.

I think it is time to sell myself on ebay. sorry, I mean sell some things on ebay.

Oh thats not fair KT!! You'd think they would at least let you know before they closed it!
Hope you manage to raise the money somehow.

I can be quoted as saying down the phone to one of the two people I spoke to "At risk of sounding all school playground here, this just isn't fair!"

in my head I can hear my dad saying, "if the world was fair, dickie-birds wouldn't eat worms."

apparently they did tell me before they closed it... by letter in May! I spoke to them on 25th September, they didn't tell me they were closing it on the 30th September.

Why oh why am I always just above the threshold for everything, but never actually have enough money to cope comfortably myself?!

Hi ktjazz, sorry to hear about your news, somethings are just so annoying!! In regards to making the money, have you looked at matched betting. You could easily make that money from two free matched bets, especially if you haven't got any bookie accounts. Sportingbet used to do £100 bet basket, as did 365.

I have just found out that ebay have taken off the vouchers i am trying to sell as the love2shop people aren't sure if its a fake!! I just want the money for them and want rid of them. I know they can be used in lots of shops, but i don't go shopping all that much so don't really have a need for them.

I'm a bit scared of the idea of matched bets to be honest. I don't understand it at all... I like the idea of the cash possibilities though...
