Going to Reykjavik, Iceland - Is now the best or worst time to buy ISK currency?

Hi all!

I will be off to Reykjavik, Iceland in June 09. Is now the best or worst time to buy ISK currency?

Also, where can you buy ISK from? I've looked at the post office but dont think they do it?

Thanks

With Iceland being notoriously expensive and their current inflation at 18% i would seriously reconsider your options if i were you.

You may have to wait until you get there.

The Post Office normally do Icelandic currency but have suspended trading in it for the moment.

That suggests the Icelandic currency has collapsed (surprise surprise) and that it may not be as expensive as it was.
