Canon Digital Ixus 40 spare camera batteries

Hello
I need to get some spare batteries for my Canon Digital Ixus 40.
I am going on a trip where I will want to take a lot of photos but there will be no power supplies to recharge the one battery I have. It dies quite quickly (after 100 snaps or so).
The canon battery pack (NB-4L) seems quite pricey for just a battery.
Anyone know of any alternatives?
Perhaps there is a way of getting an unbranded OEM battery?
Thanks and happy xmas!

Above one is good, you can get them on ebay as well.
Here's an OEM battery for a fiver:

I got a couple of compatible batteries for mine from eBay sellers - that was over a year ago now, so the price will probably have come down by now, but I think I paid about £8 - £10 for each. The first one packed up after the second recharge (made the camera malfunction until I put the OEM one back in) but the seller (who was German, and cheaper than any UK seller at the time - I think I paid euros for it) sent me a replacement with no quibbling and that's been fine.0
