Quick Move Now - Anyone Used This Company

Hello - I am thinking of looking into selling my house via a company called Quick Move Now. Has anyone else tried them and if so, what did you think of them? We are desperate to sell our house and are prepared to reduce the price.

Reduce it via the estate agent.

Friend looked at using similar companies 2 years ago and they were offering about 40% less than estate agent valuations.

Considering houses are predicted to fall in value by up to 25% I would be surprised if they offered you even 50% of the property value in the current climate.

Thank you both for your replies. They were very helpful. Based on your advice we have invited our estate agent round for a chat at the weekend to see if we can drop the price a bit more and take some new photos etc. We are also hoping to reword the advert a bit to let people know that we are open to offers. What a nightmare this house selling is. Thanks again for your help.

Yes, thats the wisest thing lumpy - these companies are in it to make as much money as they can. I believe someone on here said they often charge a very large amount just to value the house.

Estate Agents aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
12 months and 3 agents later I still hadn’t sold.
We lost 3 buyers in total because of chain and mortgage trouble.
We were fed up with estate agents so went to quick move now after a friends recomendation.
Although offer was lower (84% of value) than we wanted they were very professional.
Lucky for me my mate came back from Australia and beat their offer but otherwise I reckon we’d have gone with it.
Ended up getting a great discount on a newbuild so mrs very:j .

What do you mean, IF you can drop the price?!??!

You tell the agent you want the price dropped, he/she changes it. You're the client. You're in charge.

Also, if you want fresh, new photos, you get fresh new photos. You shouldn't get any argument from the agent.
