Anyone help?!
Basically I was a little drunk on Saturday night and I dropped it in a puddle. Now the thing works and seems to be charging fine, but when I take it off charge or disconnect it from the computer, the screen has the charged icon on it (even if it's not fully charged), and won't go away. I've tried searching for software updates, tried resetting it numerous times. I haven't restored it, as that's a last resort, but is there anything I can do to bring it back to its old self?

Wait until it fully dies... like properly dies (so when it dies on you, leave it a few hours then turn it back on nd let it live for those extra few minutes) ... then fully charge it without it being turned on at all, then once it has charged check then... that might help. I'm not really good with iPods or stuff like that, but that's a suggestion I would try. No harm in trying0

November Dusk - tried that, didn't work
it properly died the night it had its bath, and its still playing up.
I'll try the airing cupboard thing until midweek."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."
