Estate agent told me prices were on the verge of going up again

Had an email today from an estate agent who said property prices are just about to start going up, and that we can trust her on that (her words)

Does anyone here believe this, or is it a ploy to get me through the door?

She'll be down the Jobcentre next week. Spam e-mails are the last desperate act before the inevitable,

it wasn't spam, it was in response to a genuine question, as looking to buy at some point

It's still little porkie pies though and you'd be a mug to believe anything an estate agent tells you.

Um, a ploy to get you through the door!

Im looking for a second property, and according to experts; prices will still drop up to October 2009!

I went into town today.... Approx 8 EAs, all were empty. Prices near to 2007 level. So my advice do a check on previous prices, and compare them with prices they want now!

Yes she is hoping that the market will improve - but anyway, keep in touch with any agents as they may point out a bargain when it does come up.
