Hi and welcome Onetoomany.
You can get a carer's card from these folks in Northamptonshire:

What is good is that the card is free.
Hope this helps.0 -

excuse my ignorance...but what's a carers card and why would companies want to see it?If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0

That's what I thought - you can get a carers card for emergency care for the person you care for if anything happens to you - but never heard of anything other thanIf my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -
well if you went to the cinema there's the cinema exhibitors card which allows entry for a carer, and I guess you could show a carers allowance award letter. I've cerainly never heard of a carers card, perhaps you could call one of the companies and ask what they mean as I think we'd all like to know!
a google search shows some local authorities have a carers discount card scheme but I cant see anything about northants0
