help needed please!

hi ive just had a lovely day out with hubby and young son who is registered disalbled, but im getting really cross with companys asking to see my carers card. does anybody know where i can get one in northamptonshire thanks:confused:

    excuse my ignorance...but what's a carers card and why would companies want to see it?
    If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

    hi im thinking its a card that you show when u paying to enter attractions , most places offer free adminsion to the carer,

    That's what I thought - you can get a carers card for emergency care for the person you care for if anything happens to you - but never heard of anything other than

  • well if you went to the cinema there's the cinema exhibitors card which allows entry for a carer, and I guess you could show a carers allowance award letter. I've cerainly never heard of a carers card, perhaps you could call one of the companies and ask what they mean as I think we'd all like to know!

    a google search shows some local authorities have a carers discount card scheme but I cant see anything about northants
