Foot dimmer

Hi

Anyone know where I can get a foot operated dimmer (slider type), 240 to 12V for a free standing halogen Lamp.
The existing one has just gone bang.

Unfortunately not. That's the only one I've been able to find also. Problem is, it's 240V in 240V out. I need 12V.

Your best bet might be a 240V slide dimmer and a small 12V dimmable transformer like this one:

Ok, one more (small) box to hide, but you may be able to fit it in the base of the lamp.
