Are many still waiting for KE fixed terms to be broken?

I rang to authorise my fixed term accounts be broken on 6th Oct and am still waiting for this to happen. This was just before all hell broke out at KE and I was told a) KE was perfectly sound and that there was no need to pull out b) if I was determined this would take up to 48 hours. I appreciate this isn't any where near as scary as those that still can't see their money as mine is still showing in my fixed term account, but having made the decision on 6th it is no longer eligible for the high rate interest I was on and I'm going to have to pay a 1% penalty - fair enough if they'd hand it over!! I've read on another thread that these started to go through towards the end of last week, but I'd like reassurance that I'm not the only one left waiting.
Had I not thought this would be done and dusted three weeks ago I might have made a different choice, but there's no going back now and saying I've changed my mind and would like to keep my fixed terms, so please don't advise me to do that.
Just want a group hug from others in the same boat, please!

Me too. Figuring as long as they leave it where it is it's on the higher rate for now, so not stressing about it!0

My 'brake' was requested on the 16th & I've not got a date yet for when it'll be actioned, and no date for them to start actioning - courtesy of the help desk. I know yours is much earlier... but I'm still waiting too
And it's been that long and things have started to look that after next Thursday their interest rate will look pretty smokey.... I'm starting to think it may be worth changing my mind... but she did say once you elect for redemption there's no going back!0 -
Just bumping. Still waiting after requesting to break the term on October 7th. Wondering if they have forgotten about me altogether. Anyone else still waiting?0
