Charity 'present' packages instead of woprkplace gifts and cards
Options
Thought for Christmas-instead of distributing office cards I think I'm going to give one of those charity 'presents'.Found some really good ideas on the Brooke website that benefits both humans and animals. It has a range of 'presents' helping donkeys/horses in the poorest parts of the world.
Anyone got any other ideas ?

You can also use everyclick which will help charities when you buy things. http://www.everyclick.com/christmas0

Thanks for replies-have decided on a Brooke package as it seemed to cover both animal and human and provided sensible help that you could see working without any damage.it was also very appealing. World Vision also had some v good ideas. PETA does some 'alternative ' Christmas cards0

We have just signed up to Charity Greetings http://www.charitygreetings.com/ which is a great e-card website for charities. This is our Christmas page on their site, http://www.charitygreetings.com/ocdukchristmas/
They provide our charity with our own link and page to promote to our supporters, they can purchase 30 e-cards for £3.99, we get £2.00.
Although you can send free e-cards they are not very special and this allows you to send environmentally friendly e-cards whilst supporting a charity at the same time. Which shows that the sender not only cares enough to buy and send a card, but does so in an environmentally friendly way which benefits the chosen charity.
Hope that helps Eira?
