Hi,
Can anyone tell me if someone in receipt of a war pension and mobilty supplement (via the war pension) who is under 60 - can they qualify for any help towards heating costs. I suffer with the cold and obviously don't qualify for the winter fuel payment and wondered if there is any help. I can't find anything out on the war pension site. Any other war pensioners out there under 60 who would know?

Please contact the Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (who administer your war pension) on their free helpline 0800 169 2277 and request a welfare officer visit. They can talk to you on a one to one basis and establish what help may be available to you.0
