Hello all,
On Monday 27th I transferred money into a 1yr fixed term from my existing (preING) KE savings account.
Still showing as being in the fixed: 3 days and counting.......
Fingers crossed: I shall report back any change.0 -
This is interesting to know. Why the hell dont ING publish this in its LATEST NEWS thread on the opening home page on KE internet banking webpage, they would save us and them a lot of hastle. Bloody idiots.
Well if its true that they are not excepting new money, then they still have my new money showing as a FTD with a maturity date etc, they have not returned any moneys back to me. mmmmmmmm
They have either excepted it or slow in returning it back to me.... i'll wait and see what happens.0 -

Ditto for me 3 days & no change....did not see that I had much to lose by trying.0 -
As I said above I bought FTB's last Sunday via the website, on Monday they told me they had broken them and sent all the money back to my nominated account by bacs and would arrive today.
When my bank told me that it was not even pending this morning I rang KE and they said, I don't know why you were told that, the money is still in your instant access account and you should transfer it yourself. I then pointed out that it was showing as still being in bonds, I was then told it would be transferred back to the instant access account. They rang me back a couple of hours later to say that it was done, it had been and now I will transfer it myself back to my nominated account.
I think they are in chaos and personally I will be pleased to end my dealings with KE0 -
It was only because I phoned KE to confirm my new Fixed Term that I learned they were no longer accepting applications. I told them, on 27th Oct that I know of people still opening them via the internet, but still the facility remains open. Quite extraordinary! People from all over the UK must be doing this?
Because I fear that the good rates on Fixed Bonds may start to go down (only my guess) I'm now going with Anglo Irish ASAP. Incidentally I had to create a bit of 'phone scene' with KE to get my funds out of their 'Fixed Bond' quickly so I could begin to move it out of KE altogether.
I watch with interest to see how this fiasco is resolved."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0
