The meter isn't in kWh though.
I checked an old bill from British gas for my girlfriends previous flat, according to them: 16 gas units = 506.95 Kilowatt hours

Ignoring red digits, that's one metric unit = 11kwh
Is a 'gas unit' different' to a 'metric unit'?0 -

It depends on the meter. An Imperial unit is in the region of 32kWh and a Metric unit 11kWh.
If you had used 0.64 cu M that works out at approx 7 kWh x 3.77p = 26p. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I recieved a quantum card from ebico (with a southern electric logo) shouldn't that have reset the meter to charge ebico's tariff?0
