I presume it's these http://www.simpleesolar.co.uk/. So that probably answers your first question. Your second question is also a very good one. Could be this was simply a genuine error and they'd be more than willing to correct it. I personally wouldn't vent or warn about a company until I'd gotten their reaction to any problems. Some of my favourite companies to use are precisely because of something went wrong and the way in which they dealt with it made me a pleased and loyal customer. If the OP has contacted them and they fobbed him off then fair enough but for all we know the company are still unaware of the problem, this was a one off oversight and maybe they'd be willing to rectify it and compensate, which to me would make them a good company overall. Of course they could be consistently terrible but I don't think enough has been done yet to determine that either way."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I like that on their website there is a copy of their ISO 9001 QA certificate (which has expired).
It made me think of a lecture I attended many years ago on QA assessment standards. The lecturer commented that a "Quality Assurance" certificate didn't mean that a company produced "quality" goods - it meant that if they produced c**p, they could consistently produce c**p!!0 -
