honestly.. do you actually read this "consumer revenge" website. or simply post pessimistic posts every now and again. I find it strange that people who are members of a consumer fightback forum defending the actions of retailers exploiting consumer.

Doesn't surprise me to be honest, Gamestation is now owned by Game which fleeces people with their extortionate prices & negligible trade-in values.....

i dont see the site for customer revenge, i see it as finding out how you can save money, i personaly would have bought 1 off the internet0 -
marketing and PR departments, companies like nintendo can pressure retailers to conform to their sales policies.
They are limited in what they can do. Trying to force shops to follow their rules and policies, setting prices, banning bundling etc can and likely would be deemed anti-competitive practices.So, game gets all my custom from now on:T .

They do however have a different pricing policy. Gamestation is still supposed to cater for the more serious gamer, and oddly usually has better deals on preowned stock. Game on the other hand does stock its ownbrand stuff. It's odd, where I live i can wander from one to the other and the offers are usually different.
