Has everyone just been paying just them minimum monthly repayments ie. £5 and then transfering all balance to other cards or repay before phoning to cancel/extend 0% deal?
My 0% Virgin card is due to expire in April, I do have other cards/places where I could move the balance onto and then hopefully get a 6 month 0% extension and transfer the balances back Or STB into my Cahoot Savings.
I was looking at the HSBC card but the offer would have to be around at the back end of January 2006. Assuming it took 2-3 weeks for application from which you have 30 days to do you BT's, I could clear my Virgin card in time for April.

To an extent thats what I have done... I BT'd some of my virgin balance to another card a month or so before the first 0% deal finished.

By that time I had maxxed out my credit score/limit so paid the remaining amount back to Virgin.....two weeks later I transferred 95% of the available balance back out again under the new extended offer :)

Yeah Virgin extended my 0% BT till April as well increase the balance limit from 2400 to 3400- I had been paying more than the minimum each month as well......guess it just depends on what mood they are in!

Sweet! Just called Virgin. Said my original 0% period had just ended and asked for another. lady I spoke to asked if I had any other offers from another cc company. I said no but there were plenty other cards around I could apply for if they said no, within seconds had £12600 at 0% for 6 months with a £35 fee! Thanks to the OP for this info.
