Hi,
Does anyone know if ING have released a statement regarding the interest rates on the accounts that they have taken over at Kaupthing?
I just had the standard savings account at 6.55% (I think)
Is my money still earning this rate of interest now that it is with ING?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

Hi mark
For now ING has said ex-Kaupthing savers will get 6.55% for the time being, but they are able to review this at any point.

Incidently are there still problems with transfering money BACK INTO KE from linked accounts?
Is their BACS sorted now as I was thinking of putting some of my money back in but don't want it to vanish for weeks!

Hi Dan (or anyone else who may know the answer),
That seems perfectly fair, but are you aware what the implications are for the pre-ING, Kaupthing Edge promise to "beat UK base rates by at least 0.3% until Feb 2012"?
I am happy to leave things where they are, if this is still valid, but cannot find out if this is the case.No reliance should be placed on the above.0
