new broadband very slow when on Yahoo Mail??

hi, i recently switched to 10 meg virgin broadband from the free Sky broadband. Overall its a big improvement, but now, every time i log into my Yahoo Mail account, it slows down to the point of stopping. yet its fine on other sites. I had no probs checking my mail when with Sky. Any suggestions how i can fix it? thanks.

    its a yahoo problem not you so will just have to wait

    I have similar issues with Gmail. Some days no problems other days it's like dialing up.

    I know its not a fix so to speak but i used safari which helped a little, yahoo seems ok for me now,

    yea but if it was a yahoo problem cat then it would be playing up with any ISP. I have no probs with Yahoo Mail when i log in from any other comp or connection. just seems to be sluggish when i go through virgin!

    I believe its a Virgin problem,I can access yahoo email very fast at work and when I get home its like snail speed.
