Going to Florida in a few weeks and would be grateful if anyone knows if Nintendo Wii games bought in the USA will work on a console bought here? Am particularly interested in Rock Band game and accessories. Thanks.:A:confused:

Hi,
You need to be careful, america uses NTSC where as the uk uses PAL.

So when you buy the game (disk), check which the settings on the back as NTSC games will bot play on PAL (UK) systems.
However the accessories bought in the usa should be compatable with PAL disk, but i can't garentee that.Wins Pre-2011 : Arctic Monkeys Tickets

No they wont.
Unlike the PS3, Xbox and DS for some reason known only to themselves Nintendo decided with the Wii to make only PAL games work.0 -
So can I buy Xbox games in Florida and bring them back? I asked instore last time we went and they couldn't give me a straight answer so we didn't risk it.0
