Worried about my hotmail account!

Hi, hope someone can help me, posted this on the "i wanna board" as well as i was unsure where to post it.
I checked my emails this morning on my hotmail account and its showing that my mailbox usage can store 250MB but before it was showing as 25MB,i haven't signed up to hotmail plus so im not sure why its saying this. I'm kidda worried now incase they have signed me up without me knowing! If they have, how will they charge me. anyone, please help.

  • Dont Panic!!! You get 250mb from them foc after one month.Have a careful read of the log on page, all is explained there. :xmassign:
  • I've found that some accounts do not even give 250MB at all.

Their T&C's say its up to them to give you the extra 10x more storage. You should get it though if you reguarly use your account!
  • With yahoo mail I get 1 gig of space for free :)
  • You get a free 2GB with the Windows Live Mail beta if you get yourself an invite (this is the upgrade which will replace the existing hotmail as we know it). Its okay, but still not as good as gmail.

Personally, i'm sticking with gmail :D

I bet that will be good for a while and then they will slowly start taking features away and tell you to sign up for Windows Live Mail PLUS :D
  • I find WL Mail to be rather slow actually, in comparison with Gmail.

Gmail all the way for me!!

Unles ofcourse you want to send an application then forget it as Gmail
fails in that terribly, unless you rename the .ext and explain that to the recipient.
