  • If you work more than your 10 KIT days (and get paid for them!) they can't pay you Maternity Pay for that week (although if she is a professional, the amount of pay would probably be more than SMP anyway?)

    I would recommend calling ACAS (http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1461), as she may have a case to take them to a tribunal, if this was not made clear to her in good time.
