Hotel in Exeter

We are off to Exeter for 2 nights 6/7th January 2006. Can anyone give me any suggestions for reasonably priced hotel?

Many thanks.

  • I would recommend you visit https://www.laterooms.com Many a bargain to be had, have used countless times, faultlessly. Furthermore, you only give a card number as a guarantee your card is not charged until you depart, unlike most other booking agencies.

    Hope this helps

Your visit will be during the university vacation, so if you don't mind roughing it in a student room you can get b and b for less than fifteen pounds per night.

For a little more luxury, you could probably stay in one of the conference centres. I am very fond of Crossmead. Or for a still higher price (about 40 pounds I think) you could stay in Reed Hall on the main campus.

If you are into Travelodge they are giving good discounts for early bookings, from £10 but only if you book 1 Month in advance, £26 rooms may be available ? :santa2:

Used on 23rd December for £10, great value with a Harry Ramsdens on site, rooms well away from the services & motorway noise :j

We paid £39 for a double, which included a complimentary breakfast. Very good value for money.
Also try https://www.priceline.co.uk .I've had some bargains but not yet used it for Exeter.
  • i've used the countess weir, or wear, i can't remember now, but its one of the chain type travelodge/travel inn places.

it's in topsham, but i can't remember how far away it was from the town centre or anything because we used taxi's to and from a business weekend. i know i rang direct and it was cheap but more than adequate.
