Christmas shopping spree competition - Terms & conditions

1. The promotion is a free prize draw, which is open to anyone who registers with the Big Green Shop website and compiles a Shopping List in accordance with the terms below.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. THE PRIZE: Eco-friendly products of your choice from the Big Green Shop website up to a maximum total value of £300.00.
4. There is no alternative to the prize offered. The prize is subject to availability and change. Images used to promote the free prize draw are for illustration only.
5. The prize draw is only open to people aged 18 or over and resident in mainland Britain except employees of Northcliffe Media Ltd, their families, agents or anyone else associated with the administration of this promotion.
6. An entry will be deemed as any Shopping List created and titled "Christmas competition list" on the Big Green Shop website with products to a total value of between £280 and £300. We reserve the right to use our discretion in accepting shopping lists with mild variations of the title as entries (for example, "Christmas comp list", "Xmas spree list" etc) if it is reasonable to assume from the name that the Shopping List is intended to be an entry to the prize draw.
7. Qualifying Shopping Lists must contain items to a total value of between £280 and £300. Lists with a value of less than £280 or more than £300 will not qualify and will not be entered into the prize draw.
8. Lists created as entries to either of our previous shopping spree competitions cannot be accepted as entries for the current competition. A new list must be created for the new competition.
9. Entries are limited to one entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
10. The closing date for entries is 11pm on Sunday 30th November 2008. All Shopping Lists must be created and have a total value of between £280 and £300 by this deadline to qualify for the prize draw. The winner will be the first qualifying Shopping List drawn at random on Monday 1st December 2008 and the winner will be notified by email. The winner will have 7 days from the date the email notification is sent to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed after this time, another draw will take place and an alternate winner will be selected. An independent person will supervise the Prize Draw(s).
11. In the event of a winner being unable to accept the prize, upon agreement from Big Green Switch, he/she can nominate a family member or partner to accept the prize on their behalf providing they are aged 18 or over.
12. The prizes will be posted to the prizewinner at an address of their choice (UK only). Prizes may arrive in several deliveries from multiple suppliers rather than in one single delivery.
13. While we will endeavour to ensure all prizes are delivered to the prizewinner before Christmas, this cannot be guaranteed.
14. In the event of any product(s) selected on the winning Shopping List being unavailable at the time the prizes are dispatched, the winner will be asked to select an alternative product(s) to an equal total value.
15. By entering the prize draw the prizewinner agrees to partake in any promotional activities relating to the promotion requested by Big Green Switch for a period up to 12 months after. The winner may be requested to have their photographs taken for press or promotion purposes.

19. By entering our free prize draw you agree to receive further information by email from the Big Green Switch and other carefully selected third party organisations that can provide relevant offers.

Got my list to just under £200 so far... there are some really lovely things but also some rubbish!!

ETA It works now. For some reason, it won't load unless you press refresh if you get the not found message and then you're off.

i couldnt get the stuff to go on the list, im probably doing something wrong, but i cant work out what :rotfl:

Add to shopping list, then either create the list or select the appropriate list. The item on display will go dark and the options are overlaid. Are you getting that?

i click add to shopping list, then the screen goes dark and i get the box where you choose the list. i click on the xmas list i have created, but nothing happens???

After you click on your shopping list you need to click 'done' and then 'close', which takes you back to the page you were looking at before. You can then check it's added if you like by going to 'my account' and then 'shopping lists'. Hope that helps.

I can't even log in!!!! :mad:

I logged into the normal big green and it says you can use the same log in details not to re reg, but it just won't let me in!!

Now it says I've tried too many times and to try later! :mad::mad::(:(
