LPG (Gas) fire servicing cost

Hi we've just had our lpg coal effect gas fire serviced at a cost of £85 inc VAT. Apparently we have to have this done every year (according to the CORGI registered guy who did the job). BUT all he did was vacuum the tray that the 'coals' sit on and check that the flue was drawing with a match. The job took 5 minutes! We'd already moved the coals and put them back after he'd gone.

Does anyone know if this is the going rate for servicing, or have we been ripped off?!
