Nectar and Amercan express

Hi i have just registered for my replacement nectar card and followed the links from the weekly e mail to apply for an american express blue card. I saw no mention of a request for my nectar card number so if i am missing something, how do i get the 5000 points?

You need to apply for a Amex Nectar card not a Blue card:

I can't see any mention of 5,000 nectar points for American Express Blue Card applicants. Have you got this card mixed up with the new Nectar Credit Card - also from American Express?



According to Moneysupermarket, the Nectar Credit Card will credit new applicants with 5,000 Nectar points provided they apply by the 31st December 2005.

If you apply for the Nectar credit card via Moneysupermarket before the end of December, you are given 6000 nectar points. I know some people may say that this is nectar and you would be better applying via Quidco or somewhere like that but this is worth £60 in Adams the kids shop. this is because 500 nectar points gets you £5 in their store.

To get it though you have to apply via moneysupermarket and before the end of the month.
