Vokera Linea 28 combi boiler (Advice please)

I have a Vokera Linea 28 boiler which keeps cutting out (showing a code 4 which means low flow). I just wanted to know if anyone had a similar problem and if so what caused it and how was it fixed. I can't afford an engineer at the moment and was hoping it might be an easy fix !!
Thanks in advance

First thing you should check is how much water pressure is in the boiler. should be between 1-1.5 bar... It is also worth checking through the vokera linea instruction manual as there should be info with regard to each fault code. try vokera's website for info if you havent got them. Most boiler manufacturers have them on the web0

Just had the same problem
The first thing to check is your radiators. Have you recently 'blead' them?
If all the bleed taps are tight, that at lease illiminates that.
Is your burner turning on, then within a few seconds switching off?
If so it could be your ignition board.
If you take the front cover off the bolier to you right hand side you will see a Blue sealed box. This is your ignition board. This is a simple "plug and play" system.
The ignition box cost around £70. Please this is only advise to "give you a idea" what may be wrong.Has i said early i had the same problem and this was the outcome it may not be the same in your case. All the same i hope this helps. Dont these things come at the BEST time of the year0 -

Thanks for that.
I've been away over the Christmas and have just got your reply to my post.
The boiler, strangely, has been working ok for the last few weeks, however it's probably only a matter of time till it plays up again. When it does I will try your advice.
You're certainly not joking about the "BEST" time of year, not only the coldest time of year but also the most expensive !!!Education is compulsory, school is not.
