Anyone find any reviews or know if it is any good?

Looking to buy the best value DVD recorder from tesco.com - the Goodmans model for £100 seems to have disappeared from the site.

Identical to the Crown DVDR unit on sale in Morrisons for £80, and indeed the Dual which Asda were selling for £70 not so long back.

Therefore from a value for money point of view, not so brilliant. (This recorder will have been built by Orion as they are actually a manufacturer).

I don't know if it's any good, but I haven't heard any horror stories and Orion kit is generally pretty solid (they're one of the largest VCR manufacturers in the world and have a factory in the UK).

Thanks for the info. Couldn't resist this using the 1,000 clubcard points (see online vouchers) this works out the equivalent of £50.

Not too bad for a DVD recorder. Perhaps I should post on the grabbit board.
