Replacement adaptor for Viglen Dossier 2700t Laptop

Hi there

How would I go about knowing what power adaptor is compatible with a Viglen Dossier 2700t Laptop? Was looking at buying a 2nd hand laptop and have been told that the battery life is totally dead and a new adaptor is needed. Or should I steer clear?!? Where's a good (cheap) place to buy a replacement adaptor from?

i know a few people have gone to maplin for replacement psu for lappy ,they have taken there lappy and old psu and maplins have found one that works on there lappy ,i think there about £30 to £40 ish ?for a universal one and maplins mite not be the cheapest place to look
