Although I have this on my PC it does not open when I switch on. I used to have flash but now cannot open anything requiring this and cannot instal it. Cannot open any attachments in emails in pdf form. Are these problems connected.?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for reply. I do have adobe on add or remove programme but not flash. I have seen sites where you purchase this but I did have a free version of this before. I have checked AVG firewall and this is set at medium. When I first tried to download flash a gold bar came up for me to tick but this is not coming up now. Im not very technical minded and am reluctant to pay out for somelthing due to my lack of knowledge.:mad:0 -
You are talking about Adobe which is a company (not a software product) which makes many software products from free Adobe Reader (to open PDF documents), free Flash Player plug-ins (to watch animations on-line); through to very expensive design software costing thousands of pounds.
So I assume you are either talking about:
Adobe Reader which can be downloaded free from Adobe here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
or
Adobe Flash Player for browsers can be downloaded free from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
I suggest you download and install both, restart your PC and see if you still have the same problem.
(If you have older versions if may be worth uninstalling first from the Add/remove Programs Control Panel)0 -
thanks. I will uninstall adobe reader and then try what you suggest.0

Hi to those to replied to my problem with Flash. I uninstalled Adobe reader and installed latest version with no problems but still will not install Flash. The gold bar which was showing on top saying I may need to install 'Active X' does not come now. I will have to give up trying as I just do not know what else to do.:mad:0

Thanks for all your help. Installedx Firefox but still cannot install flash. I know of a man who charges £20 per hour to clean up pc. Will offer him one hour to try and find out why I cannot install Flash. I have tried everything suggested with no luck.
Appreciate all who tried to help:mad:0 -
