Another NSD for me, although I don't think I will get to my goal of 10. The problem I have is that I hate bread that isn't totally fresh so I don't buy bread at all, but buy a roll on the way to work and make my sandwich up when I get there. So, basically I am being thwarted by a 30p roll every day!

Hi Jacks and the rest! I managed my 5th NSD today, 7 left to get but still think i can manage it especially as have no cash until Friday anyway.
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month
  • In the end I didn't manage an NSD on Sunday, but I did yesterday - so that's number 9 down. And today I spent £1 - but that was the toll to get across the river, and I had to do that for work so I'm not counting it ;) - so that's number 10 gone! Two more to go for me :D

    Hi,
I know it's over half way through the month but do you mind if I join you?!
I am getting better at NSDs - used to go to shops five or six days a week and it's less than that now. I could reduce it more if I steer clear of Tesco on the way home from work - I'm trying to clear some space in the freezer so I don't actually need to buy a lot of food, I just have to put in effort and be creative with what I have. However I like bargains and often pass Mr. T late in the evening!
I know I also need to have some planned spending days, including at least one Christmas shopping expedition and probably two big food shops before the end of November.
I'm probably a bit ambitious aiming for 6 NSDs out of the 12 remaining days this month, but if it forces me into planning not drifting, it will be a good thing.
I walk to work so don't have fares/petrol for that, and I'm not counting money the family manages to wheedle out of me - but I will count it as spending if I send one of them to buy me something. I'm not counting work expenses either, as these are reimbursed.
Off to add it to my signature...

NSD 4 of 6 for me.
Most of my team are off sick or on leave so I couldn't have gone out at lunchtime even if I'd wanted to.

Fortunately I'd taken sandwiches to work so I had no need to go out anyway.
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

  • 2 more NSD's for me bringing my total to 7/13. Good luck everyone.
