Have refused to leave house apart from delivering Avon brochures, so have managed an nsd AT LAST. Have very little sugar in, so I know I will be spending tomorrow. Also have my bulk shop order due tomorrow.

 Wooo Lovelies! I'm on NSD number 7 on day 8 and my basin taps are fitted so I'm feeling pretty darn cool right now! :o:D

(When the shower and the loo are done on Monday I'll be so excited I'll be insufferable! ;):o A fully functioning bathroom??? Ooh the luxury!)

My Mum's not been well so she keeps popping round with food parcels of things she's won't use up and my milk / bread delivery managed to come three times this week (woo! ) so that helps.

Apart from stuff we need to complete the bathroom I'm just trying not to spend at all so that I can do a Christmas splurge near the end of the month and get all of that expense out of the way early - and in a couple of hits.

So at the moment I'm feeling pretty optimistic!

Well done to those of you who are flying towards your target..and if you're not yet in the NSD groove then just keep plugging away at it.

It may seem artificial at first. You may think "well if I don't buy it today I'm only going to have to buy it tomorrow" but the process changes your attitude to spending and then your behaviour - and somehow saves you money! (Honestly!)

(Says the woman who only spent once in 8 days but when she did finally open her purse she bought £300's worth of taps! :rotfl: )

I'm off to update The List now,

    Love Jacks xxx :D

  • Another 2 NSD for me. Was ill yday, but as I said to my DM every cloud has a silver lining. And today I had to keep my hands in my pockets as I went around a newly found craft shop with the mother in law!

So I am up to 9/15! :T Go me :rotfl:

  • NSD no 3 for me! :jToday I went into some shops and could have come out with 150 quid's worth of stuff for the house (including a hot water bottle wearing a knitted jumper :rotfl:), but I was very stern with myself :money:. Who needs 'stuff' anyway?
  • Ok so I've decided to start this 8 days in, so I'm aiming for 8 days of NSD! Wish me luck!
