I'm declaring today as my first NSD this month - woohoo!:j Congrats on the taps, Jacks. I've now got 2 washbasin taps that actually work thanks to a friendly plumber; I no longer have to clean my teeth is hot water :rotfl:

Eww... I'm very glad about that hon! Hot water for teeth cleaning sounds yucky!

...and I will soon not have to run the shower just to get some hot water to wash my face at the end of the day.

    Yay!!!

    Love Jacks xxx :D

That's my 2nd one today. I graduated :D And my parents paid for all my food/transport, which was good.

Yesterday I did spend over £40 on transport and renewing my rail card though, which was unavoidable, but still a NSD day today :D

    2 down, 9 to go.

  • Blimey it's been a busy day or two for all you NSD'ers!! Tirlittan, belated Happy Birthday, and massive congratulations on the Graduation Sharon87! Redfraggle - I'm going to see Take That in June too - whoo hoo - I'm very excited! Even more so since my SIL payed them on her credit card, so I've a month to find the cash for them - Ebay here I come!!

And finally - Jacks - congrats on the taps!! Running the shower to wash your face sounds like a royal pain in the a*$e!!

Well, back to my NSD's - yesterday was a spend day as I went to an organised fire display although it was free we bought a burger for tea and had a go on a couple of the fairground rides - but I'm pleased I managed to stick to the £8 I had in my purse rather than going to the bank and spending the £30/£40 that I normally would at something like that!! :T

I'm declaring today as my 3rd NSD of the month,:j as I've brought brekkie and lunch into work with me, and I'm heading to the boyf's tonight for tea and to watch the next box-set of Prison Break!!

    Happy no spending everyone!!
  • Hi Guys,

I'm new to all this but am going for 11 NSDs ... I really need to curb my silly spending and this seems ideal.

    Hope you don't mind.....

bone idle - good luck with the baby weight thing - my youngest is 11 weeks now, fully breastfed, and only weighs the same as she did the day she was born. Have been to the hospital a few times with her - no one has suggested formula to me yet..... Is wearing tho isn't it?

Thanks! Our DD had kept losing a few grammes each time she was weighed, and had a bit of an eye infection so really it was an easy decision to switch her to formula - she's guzzling it down now and to me looks bigger after only a couple of days! Plus her eye has really cleared up now :D

I had NSD no.3 yesterday - DD and I stayed in whilst her mum went out for a well-earned break, and I was too tired to spend any money!
