In my experience cheap sheds are usually very flimsy. Probably best to pay a bit more and go to a local shed maker where you can have a good look at the size of the battens and cladding being used. I have always built my own.
I can afford anything that I want.

depends where you are in the UK, if you were within 60mile of hull, i know someone who buys shed, strengthens them, travels to you and installs them.

Basically, they buy them as damaged stock, repair them. Treat them, cross brace them. Fit better doors / hinges, and install them.

So if they buy them for £130, they sell to you for £225 installed for example.

Are there any saw mills near you my local one makes sheds, perhaps its common practice.

I agree you get what you paid for with sheds, cheap shed dont often last get one that is tongue and grooved
  • I'm in the market for a shed soon too. I'm hoping to pick up a bargain as surely now is a quiet time for shed sales, I'm thinking my best option is to go to the local shed maker and make an offer on the shed of my choice, doubt I'd be able to do the same at a DIY store.

Our local shed maker recently sold off all their show sheds cheaply. Worth keeping a look out for something similar in your area.
