hi all

I'm after a bit of savings advise.

My partner has got 43,000 to invest in a savings account. She is a student and so doesnt pay tax and is after an account where it would pay monthly interest into any account nominated and she would also want quick access to the money if needed (such as if we found a house we wanted to put a deposit down on)

what are the best savings accounts on the market that would suit us..

I don't know any accounts that pay monthly.

But just so you know, just because she is a student, it doesn't mean they don't pay tax. Students still pay tax if they earn over their personal allowance.

The BM ESaver acount issue 2 may fit the bill - although no rate cut since the Bank of England cut rates earlier this month, so a reduction may be due.
